Noizi Ito’s latest eroge arrived after so long! Fappable Heart! Noizi Ito, as you may know, is the artist that designed the characters for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Shakugan no Shana, the eroge: Nanatsuiro Drops, Alice Parade, and much more. She’s very talented, and Flyable Heart’s CG is nothing short of amazing. The game itself runs for around 100 USD, and if you’re ordering from Japan, it’ll be around 120-130~ish.
I’m not really going to get much into the plot, as that is up to your to figure out! I’m not really a fan of spoilers.
The game follows a linear plot, basically the norm for an eroge. Basically, Katsuragi Sho is the main protagonist of the story. Being a former high school student, he transferred into the Ōtoriryōran Academy. There he meets several girls, and basically sets the stage for the rest of what’s going to happen. You are given five major plot choices, meaning that it should take a while to finish the entire game.
Lovely Game Window. Upon launch, you’ll be asked to insert your Flyable Heart DVD. This is to help prevent theft, but it’s easily exploitable, since you can just eject the disk after getting to the game screen.
You’re given a lot of save slots, I mean, A LOT. You can play the game in either windowed mode or fullscreen mode. Ideal for those that like to hook up their computers to 150″ inch TV’s. You have one Quick Save slot, a CG Mode, a BGM Mode, Scene Select Mode, and a few other goodies. During actual gameplay, you have the auto button, which auto advances the text, good if both of your hands are busy. [You're eating a burger and doing your homework...right?] You can also get rid of the text, so that you can gaze at Noizi Ito’s artwork:
The game doesn’t really require much user-interaction, since most of the time is spent on reading the text. There’s a good balance between ecchi and comedy in the story, but it’s amazing how it seamlessly transitions to a more serious tone when needed. My Japanese isn’t very good, though, so I can’t tell much on about the characters, I haven’t finished the game yet, either.
Upon playing for a few minutes [or hours, if you're me] you’ll be greeted by the game trailer, showing it’s smooth 60 FPS glory. An HD version of it can be found here:
The game runs on:
- Windows 2000/XP/Vista [32/64 Bit.]
- 128 MB of RAM to 512 MB if you’re using Vista.
- The program eats up around 4 GB of HDD Space.
If you like Noizi Ito’s artwork and you also like eroge, then this game is a must in your collection.

Just in case you don’t know what eroge is, it’s basically a Japanese 18+ game, with usually an Anime style. Some of you guys might call it by the derogatory term: Hentai games. More info on that on a seperate post.

You can’t play it online, you have to install it on your computer.

This is only a post on the Japanese release of Flyable Heart. However, it is censored because of censorship laws in Japan.
Last I checked, there was a team making an unofficial English translation patch for the game…
