Welcome to Tsundere Works’ Moe Blog!
Bienvenido al blog de Tsundere Works!

Tsundere Works’ Moé Blog is a website about creative arts; mainly animation and drawings. Games for PC and consoles are sometimes discussed here, as well as Eroge. Home to many high quality images, this blog will frequently hook you up to image sets, as well as generously-sized wallpapers for any size monitor you might have. Below are some of the common topics that this blog will be about.
———————————————————————————————————————————
Gaming:

It all started with the Super Nintendo I got as a kid. I remember it as if it was yesterday, playing Super Mario World for the first time. At first, it took a while for me to get used to playing on a TV, but soon later, I discovered that I fell in love with gaming.
Shortly after, it was the Nintendo 64, I remember playing Ocarina of Time on it. However, it took quite a while for me to beat it. The game was so hard… ^^; I think I beat Majora’s Mask sooner than that one, though. Wasn’t Majora’s Mask more difficult?
That’s how it was for a few years; gaming all the time. However, as time passed, I had less money to spare, and I had to cut back on new games. During this time, I just replayed the old ones, but it wasn’t enough. That’s when I discovered that huge, heavy pile of wires and metal; the computer.
Computing:

To make a long story short, I played around with the machine, and ran into a few errors every now and then, which sometimes cost us dearly. I remember having a technician drop by because I deleted the Windows folder. That was funny, but now it’s embarrassing. In middle school, we were put into a computer introductory class. By now, I had already well known how to type, but this was what the class was mainly about. However, because I used to not be a good listener in class, instead of following with my fellow classmates, I instead played around the computer’s software. Changing the dock, running OS 9, etc. The result was that I got used to the Macintosh/Windows environment, but now I have a weird typing style. I never rest my fingers on the home keys, but this way of typing has seemed to work for me for the past years. It’s unique and retarded.
3 Years after my initial encounter with the home computer, I discovered a few things. It was a Compaq Presario 5360, 384 MB RAM, [3X128 MB] 10 GB HDD, Windows 98 SE, AMD K6 3D CPU, and I guess 8 MB Video Memory. Probably the most important thing I learned was that it was slow. Actually, it seemed that everyday, it was getting slower. So I installed a few programs, learned about the startup utility, [MSCONFIG] and learned about viruses after a painful encounter with them. A machine like this could never compete with the 512 MB, Pentium 4, 40 GB Windows XP monsters in my local library! And also, I was so envious of the flat screens. I had a fat CRT. Even after this, my computer was still slow.
I now work with an Intel MacBook Pro 2.4 GHz, 4 GB RAM.
Anime:

So I decided to open up my computer. I ended up wrecking two cd drives, a fan, and a floppy drive =[. After this, I got used to my machine, and I later discovered that other computers were similar. However, I got bored of this also, and began to pick up Japanese Animation.
I surprised myself by realizing that I was into this all along, from the Zelda games, to Pokemon and Digimon. I was now watching other stuff like Chobits, Elfen Lied, and Mahoromatic, just to name a few [The RMVB playback was painfully slow on my computer]. One of my friends was planning to go to an Anime convention, I ended up going. The price wasn’t painful, and it was going to be a whole new experience for me. =]
Drawing:
At the time, I wanted to become a game designer. Not pretending, but actually being serious about it. I talked to a few guys at school, asked a few questions on the net, and most agreed that I should have a background in drawing, and animation. However, game designing requires programming, something I really didn’t enjoy. I took a Visual Basic class. Passed it, but did not feel satisfied…
I ditched the dream, but I didn’t stray so far from it. I ended picking up animation.
My drawings are usually first done in pencil and paper. When done, they are taken to the scanner, the lineart is created using SAI in Windows, and when I’m done, I switch to Leopard, where I can color in Photoshop. I currently work with Photoshop CS4, and use a Canon Pixma MX310 to scan my work.
Animation:

I took animation in school. Most schools don’t have this program, so for a school near me to have something like this was like a blessing to me. I took Flash 8, and am currently using Flash CS4. I have also worked with Autodesk Maya in the past.
Programming:

I’ve taken Programming in college and High School. I passed both, but I didn’t like the program. The idea of writing commands into an unstable user-unfriendly program wasn’t for me. A missing “End Sub” in Visual Basic cost me many hours of work. Frustrating and painful. I’m willing to learn HTML & CSS, though.
Spanish:

I’ve been knowing this language for too long. I grew up learning it fluently, so feel free to speak to me in Spanish if you don’t like English. However, I never took any formal classes for Spanish, basically all I know is what Mom taught me, and now it seems to be going down the drain since I hardly use it…
I’m planning to take a college class to reinforce my Spanish…
However, I am fully capable of English to Spanish translation and some Japanese to Spanish as well.
Japanese:

Foreign language for me. Many people try to pick this up because they want to watch raw Anime, maybe they want the women, play some Eroge, or for some other reasons. Not saying that those reasons are bad, but you really need a passion for learning a language if you want to become fluent in it. It is difficult, I won’t tell you otherwise. I’m learning Japanese because I want to set up a business in the future that brings media that you guys are interested in. [Anime, Manga, Toys, Games, Programs, etc.] I admit, I also want to sub Anime, be able to watch the raws, and maybe play some Eroge, but it’s mainly a business thing. Networking in a animation-oriented community includes many people who speak Japanese. By learning this language, you get rid of a ton of language barriers in the animation industry.
Feel free to speak in this language, although I may not understand all the time. ;]
If you or a friend are considering learning this language, you might want to drop by here first, as I may write a few posts on Introductory Japanese. Maybe it’ll answer plenty of questions.
Why the blog name? [Copied from the ツンデレ Tsundere Post]

A Stereotypical Tsundere in Anime
A Tsundere is a play on two Japanese words: tsuntsun (ツンツン) and deredere (デレデレ) with tsuntsun meaning a person who is cranky, moody, mildly cruel, somewhat violent, somewhat bitchy and deredere a person who is affectionate, loving, sentimental. Combine the two and you have a Tsundere.
Tsundere Work’s Moe blog is a blog that can either hate something, or like something, but in the end, it loves everything, that’s why I write about them. It’s about having a blog that you love, that has the stuff you love. Quite simple, really.
Bottom Line:
What I plan to accomplish in this blog: Be able to establish networking, be able to meet people that share these interests. Make friends. Write about my passions.
