Last year I tried doing a series of posts that would cover each day of Anime Expo, but that failed quickly! The thing is, it’s not really an organized thing to go to an anime con. Sometimes I hung out with friends, sometimes I went out to get lunch, sometimes I bought things, sometimes I went to the dance, and the rest of the time, I actually went to the panels and screenings. Anime Expo is close to me, so we may not necessarily treat it as special as other individuals do. For us, it’s a casual thing that we do every year. However, there is one thing we did all the time, and that was taking pictures of beautiful cosplay.
So without further ado, here are the details of the event! This is meant to be a single, informal ramble about the things we did while showing the very best images we took at the con. I may sometimes go off-topic.
I was hanging around Bakersfield, CA when a new friend told me about a con that was going to take place during April: BakAnime. It’s a small little con that took place in the Doubletree hotel in Bakersfield last Sunday. Nothing huge like Los Angeles’ Anime Expo of course, but it was a pretty nice con to go to. There were a few panels, and people were selling stuff so it was alright.
Staple Anime goods.
It’s been a while since I last posted a Cosplay set, or any content, for that matter. I just recently started college, and I have decided to break the six month ice with something truly special from Comiket 80. (More news for you music fans! I’m sure you’ll love what I have in store for you.)
As always, the complete image set is available for download below.
Elite cosplayers Lenfried, Tsukushi, Ushijima, as well as Pude and Miiya all combine together to bring us what every Madoka Cosplay fan dreams of! At this time of writing, I haven’t finished the series. I’ve only gone through the first six episodes, but it’s been a while. I hope I can pick up this show again soon. Don’t worry about your comments containing spoilers, though.
Released during Comiket 80, this image set contains solo and group shots.
The holiday season is here. Initially hit by Halloween and Thanksgiving, I’ve had anything but free time. Today is a very special day, and I have something very special to show you.
Necoco here cosplays the popular character Alice, from the story Alice in Wonderland. Praised by both young and old, the story of Alice in Wonderland is one that has stimulated our imagination during our childhood.
One thing is to use the word “sexy” to appeal to viewers and have them click your site. But it’s another thing to use the word “sexy” because you genuinely think it is so.
Even if you aren’t a Touhou fan, even if you don’t know who Sakuya is, or even if you don’t like cosplay at all, the contents inside this post may still be of related interest… I invite you to verify this for yourself.
* This blog post describes who Izayoi Sakuya is.
